Big Experiences Lead to Bold Futures
Under the Launch career development platform, all students graduate with at least two experiential learning opportunities on their transcripts. Guaranteed.
This shortTREC program will count towards this out-of-the-classroom requirement in Drew’s rigorous curriculum.
Travel
Immerse yourself in a New York City theatre experience in the undisputed center of the American theatre world. Students will live in the Big Apple to experience the bright lights of Broadway and the energy of NYC. See a musical on Broadway, engage in performances, build your network, and enjoy theatre-going experiences.
Rethink
Performer and Audience Perspectives
How does performing arts shape and reflect society? How do production choices convey meaning to an intended audience? What are various paths to become a working professional in the arts?
Explore
Synthesize Immersive and Academic Learning
Explore how classroom learning across the liberal arts applies to professional artistic practice. Be a part of the development of a new musical, AIRBORNE, about Bessie Coleman, the first Black female pilot in the US. Work alongside musical theatre professionals—director, musical director, choreographer, and performers—to rehearse and perform a concert reading of the musical. Students can participate as stage managers, assistants to the directors/choreographer, performers, dramaturgs, and more.

Launch-Endorsed Immersive Experience
This program is for students of all majors, fulfilling two credits of the breadth arts requirement. With its focus on theatre production in a professional context, it is ideal for those studying theatre or dance, and those planning careers in the theatre.
