Colby McCarthy
Dean of Enrollment Management

Colby’s territories include Pennsylvania (except Philadelphia, Chester, Montgomery, and Delaware counties), Florida, and Puerto Rico.

Meghan Walsh
Assistant Dean of Enrollment Management

Meghan is from Cranford, NJ.  She covers territories in Morris County (NJ), Union County (NJ), and Southeastern PA (Philadelphia, Chester, Montgomery, and Delaware counties). Her favorite campus event is “Day of Scholars because it is really fun to watch students showcase the great projects they have worked on throughout the year to the entire student body.”

Lakesha Groover (T’13)
Senior Admissions Counselor & Coordinator of Diversity Recruitment

Lakesha is from Long Island, NY. She’s in charge of the following territories: Long Island (NY), Essex County (NJ), Hudson County (NJ), and Southern States (AL, GA, LA, MS, NC, SC, TN). Her favorite thing about Drew is “the tight-knit community between students, staff, and faculty.”  Her favorite campus event/tradition is Commencement because “it’s literally full circle–imagine how incredible it is to have played a role in the students’ choice to enroll and then watching them leave and tackle a whole new world that Drew has prepared them for.”

Zack Mower (C’13)
Senior Admissions Counselor

Zack is a Drew Alum from Westwood, NJ. He covers Hunterdon, Mercer, Middlesex, Somerset, Sussex, and Warren counties in NJ, as well as the Midwest (IL, IN, KY, MI, MN, MO, OH, WV, WI). His favorite thing about Drew is “how willing students are to help one another.” His top three campus traditions are Midnight Breakfast, Thanksgiving Feast, and Spring Saturday.

Conor Smith

Conor Smith
Admissions Counselor

Conor hails from Westchester, New York. Conor’s territory covers Bergen County (NJ) as well as the 5 boroughs in NYC. He also covers central and western states (AK, AZ, AR, CA, CO, HI, ID, IA, KS, MT, NE, NV, NM, ND, OK, OR, SD, TX, UT, WA, WY) of the USA. He loves Drew’s small college, close-knit feel and the interconnectedness of different students, staff, and professors that takes place in “The Forest.”

Tony Oliveira (C ’21)
Admissions Counselor

Tony is a Drew Alum from Linden, NJ. Tony’s territory covers Passaic County (NJ), Monmouth County (NJ), as well as New York state (excluding Long Island and the 5 Boroughs.) His favorite thing about Drew is the way students interact with each other on a daily basis, as well as the life-long relationships you make throughout the four years.

Mary Schlosbon
Admissions Counselor

Mary is originally from Boothwyn, PA. Her territory covers Atlantic, Burlington, Camden, Cape May, Cumberland, Gloucester, Ocean, Salem Counties (NJ), as well as Delaware, Maryland, Washington DC, and Virginia. She loves the beautiful Drew campus located in “The Forest” and the welcoming campus community.

Sunita B. Bhargava
Director of Transfer and Continuing Education

Sunita works with Transfer students, as well as non-degree and summer students. She’s been working at Drew for over 15 years! Some of her favorite things about Drew are “our incredible students, the beautiful campus, and the close community.” Her favorite Drew tradition is Commencement. “It is such a joy to witness the culmination of dreams our students came to Drew with.”

Matt Zonis
Assistant Director of Marketing & Recruitment
INTO Drew University

Matt is responsible for working with all prospective international undergraduate students applying to Drew University. Prior to coming to Drew, Matt had the chance to live abroad in Bangkok, Thailand and Hanoi, Vietnam working as an educational consultant and college counselor, respectively. Matt greatly enjoys meeting students, exploring new cultures, espousing the benefits of Liberal Arts, and traveling internationally on behalf of Drew.

Megan McHugh
Director, University Events

Megan is from South Plainfield, NJ. She plans and organizes university events including commencement, new student orientation, Discover Drew Days & Inside the Forest events, and campus tours. Her favorite things about Drew are the beautiful campus, the awesome student leaders she works with, and the proximity to downtown Madison, where some of her favorite local restaurants are! She most looks forward to August orientation each year because of the energy and excitement that each new class of students brings to Drew.

Maddy Randall
Assistant Director, University Events

Maddy is from Wichita, KS. She helps plan university events including Inside the Forest events, Drew Forum Lecture Series, and Commencement. Her favorite thing about Drew is how welcoming the campus community is to new faces whether it’s inside the forest or around the town of Madison.

Maryjane Rieske
Coordinator for Orientation & Campus Experience, University Events

Maryjane is from Morristown, NJ. She helps coordinate new student orientation and campus tours and works directly with the student tour guide and orientation committee teams. Her favorite thing about Drew is the student leaders she gets to work alongside. The student team welcomes each student and family into The Forest and connects with them to create an intentional and meaningful on-campus experience. She looks forward to our weekly campus tours because it is an opportunity to share Drew University’s beautiful campus with prospective students and their families.
