U.N. Semester/NGO Virtual Meetup

For almost 60 years, the Semester on the United Nations has connected the classroom with the global arena. The U.N. Semester also has a profound impact on today’s students and alumni. On May 19, join us as we look back on this program's incredible success and play U.N. trivia, while also catching up with U.N. Semester alums and those who are, or have been, engaged with NGOs.

Virtual Escape Room

Tuesday, May 25 | 6 p.m. ET

Only one registration required per device, but it is preferable for those joining you to be on their own devices.

Come join us for this fun and interactive way to get together with friends and alums! Small teams of players work together in this hour-long virtual escape room event. While one player is responsible for the movement around the house, the others investigate objects in closer detail. Only by working together will you be able to solve the secrets of the house.

The Ballantine House challenges you and your team to race the clock as you try to find the hidden Ballantine Beer recipe and escape the house before you get caught!

Life in The Forest: A Student Panel on the Pandemic Experience on Campus

Current students from the CLA, Caspersen School, and Theological School discuss what life as a Drew student has been like during the COVID-19 pandemic. They will give their unique perspectives on the adjustment to all-virtual learning, impact on academics, hybrid learning models, and what life is now like back on campus.

Virtual 5k

Starting May 28 | Asynchronous throughout Memorial Day Weekend

In celebration of this years Reunion, we have a fun way for you to get outdoors and celebrate remotely!

Join together with the Drew community and run or walk an individual 5k over Memorial Day Weekend.

Post your photos on social media using #DrewU. Posts must be public for non-followers can see it. If you are uncomfortable sharing publicly, you can, alternatively, just send your photo to alumni@drew.edu.

There will be prizes for the person wearing the most creative reunion gear, and the class year with the highest participation will earn a special treat at next year's reunion!

Important Financial Strategies for Your 20s and 30s

Do you have questions about handling your personal finances? This program will help you learn more about topics such as budgeting, debt management, investing basics, and more. Join Miguel Gonzalez C'01 and Sabrina Fruci C'15 for a conversation to help you maintain or achieve financial wellness.

Trivia & Tunes

Join us for a special trivia program—Drew edition! This free, virtual trivia contest features a game-specific soundtrack and allows you to team up with friends across town or across the country. At least one round will include Drew-specific trivia.

Open to up to 15 teams of 4-6 people each. The prize for the top team includes a special Drew basket/bundle, plus bragging rights! Other special prizes will be awarded to teams—come to see what they are and how to win them! Check your emails after you register for an extra opportunity to acquire points.

Ice Cream Float Experience

Join us for a fun, unique Ice Cream Float Experience! During this 30-minute, non-alcoholic experience you'll make ice cream with just a few ingredients and some zip-top bags, then turn it into a frothy, delicious root beer, orange, or cherry float!

This Ice Cream Float Experience is live and fully interactive. Guests can chat with each other and the host while making ice cream together and learning some sweet trivia! Stay on after the event for an hour of optional socializing and networking.

Drew Young Alumni Association Happy Hour

The Drew Young Alumni Association (DYAA) would like to invite graduates of the last decade (classes of 2011 through 2021) to a happy hour/networking event during Virtual Reunion festivities. We will welcome the class of 2021 to our ranks, and celebrate their achievement. We’ll start with a structured networking event from 7:30-8:00 p.m. ET, with the opportunity to engage with young alumni in your field, and follow with a happy hour for more casual conversation.

Social Justice Movie Club Launch

We have partnered with PBC Guru to create a free movie club for students, alumni, faculty and staff. The movie club will connect through a private text-based forum where all participants can discuss the current movie and network with each other. Drew’s Office of Alumni and Parent Communities will periodically supplement this forum with virtual watch parties and/or discussion groups.

We are pleased to announce the soft launch of the movie club with a watch party and discussion of the first movie, Fruitvale Station.
