Quarantine/Isolation Housing Guidelines

Quarantine/Isolation Housing Guidelines

Drew University would like all residential students to be informed about our Quarantine/Isolation Housing, in the event you are required to temporarily relocate into Quarantine/Isolation Housing.

  • There are current locations identified on campus for both quarantine and isolation housing:
    • Quarantine Housing: is residence hall rooms to be utilized for students exposed to confirmed cases of COVID-19 or students experiencing COVID-19 symptoms, while you await the results of a COVID test. While being quarantined, you are permitted to pick up meals “to-go” but you are not permitted to eat meals in-person.
    • Isolation Housing: is residence hall rooms for students who have tested positive for COVID-19. Residential students who test positive for COVID-19 are required to isolate in our Isolation Housing until they are asymptomatic without the use of fever-reducing medications or until they receive a negative COVID-19 test result. While in Isolation Housing you are not permited to leave your room, except to utilize a restroom or seek medical care. Meals must be ordered from Treeline Dining and will be delivered to you for the duration of your time in isolation.
