Academic Support Resources

The Center for Academic Excellence (CAE) is pleased to offer both in-person and online tutoring.  We are a free, student-friendly resource for all Drew University undergraduates and graduate students. If you are looking for subject tutoring, writing support, or academic coaching, use the CAE’s scheduling system, WCOnline.

Types of Academic Support

Drop-In or Make an Appointment Now!

The CAE is pleased to offer both in-person and online tutoring. We are a free, student-friendly resource for all Drew University undergraduates and graduate students.

Students will have access to individualized tutoring and select drop-ins.

Students can schedule either 30-minute or one-hour appointments. Appointment cancellations must be made 24 hours in advance.

Appointments begin at the time they are scheduled for. You are considered a no-show to your appointment if you are a late arrival or fail to cancel your appointment 24 hours in advance. If you are a “no show” for three appointments, you will lose your account privileges.

All times for both face-to-face appointments and online tutoring are EST, and the schedule is subject to change based on tutor availability.

Tutor Request Form for Special Requests

While the CAE strives to provide tutors for all courses, we cannot guarantee the availability of tutors for every course. If you do not see availability for a particular course, you may complete our Tutor Request Form.

You can also complete a Tutor Request Form if you do not see availability because you are living in different time zone from Drew and need to schedule a session outside our normal availability.

After we receive your completed form, we will contact you to arrange an appointment to meet your need.
