Outstanding chemistry and biochemistry majors are eligible to join Gamma Sigma Epsilon, a national chemistry honors society.
The organization honors exceptional students, invites prominent chemists to present their research at Drew in a seminar series, and runs a number of programs, including a regional science fair for junior high students.
The chemistry department also celebrates the impressive work of our students each year with several awards, including the James Lyman McFadden Award for outstanding work in chemistry.
Our graduates continue to earn accolades beyond Drew, and several recent graduates have received National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowships.
Congratulations to Derrick Wood C'04, who received the 2015 Presidential Award for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching.
