The Changemakers Certificate program is designed to offer Drew students the opportunity to volunteer both locally and abroad. In an effort to increase a culture of community service at Drew, this program allows students to give back to the community while refining their leadership skills, communication, global awareness and much more! As a Changemakers, students are expected to complete 45 total hours of service and professional development activities.

• Despite the pandemic, the 2019/2020 academic year saw 26 Changemakers, with 19 0f them logging over 570 hours of community service.  Although most students learned remotely this year, Changemakers were as dedicated as ever to aiding their local communities in any capacity they were able, as well as to their own personal and professional development.
  • The Drew Food Pantry opened in the Fall of 2020, and has since then been incredibly well supported by faculty, staff, campus groups, and our Changemakers, Action, and Civic Scholar volunteers who all made this year’s success possible!  Visit our Pantry page to learn more.
