Drew University’s Fall Forward Program Filled a Fall Gap for Brendan Mullany C’25

“The Fall Forward program was a no-brainer for me.”

September 2022 – Brendan Mullany C’25 found himself with an open fall semester last year.

Mullany left Villanova University during the early part of the fall semester and was prepared to take a gap semester to consider his options for the spring.

When researching Drew University as a transfer solution, he discovered Drew’s Fall Forward program, which allows students to enroll mid-semester and take classes on a part-time basis.

Mullany quickly took advantage of this unique opportunity to fill a gap in his college career by earning six college credits.

“When I was looking at options of schools to attend in the spring, I came across Drew’s Fall Forward program,” said Mullany. “I was already considering Drew as one of my options for the spring. As such, the Fall Forward program was a no-brainer for me.”

In addition to solving a mid-semester solution, Mullany, a commuter student, found Drew’s location to be very convenient.

Mullany pointed to the campus and class size when deciding to matriculate to Drew as a full-time student.

“The campus itself is very beautiful,” he said. “I love all of the trees and other greenery. I am also a big fan of the smaller class size and a smaller school in general.”

Mullany is planning to declare his major in computer science with a minor in philosophy.

The Fall Forward application deadline for the fall 2022 semester is October 11, with classes running from October 20- through December 16.
