The sixth annual UPitchNJ, an innovative statewide collegiate business model competition showcasing the Garden State’s top young talent, will be held Friday, April 23, from 1-3 p.m. in a live-streamed, virtual format together with Nokia Bell Labs.
New Jersey’s college students, faculty, alumni, friends, and the public are all invited to watch virtually.
Ryan Perlee, C ’21, Business, represented Drew University earlier in the competition with his early-stage venture, South African Wine & Liquor USA. His company seeks to fill a gap in the deliverance of South African wine, liquor, and beer products available for purchase within the United States by distributing a curated range of unique South African alcoholic beverages currently only available in South Africa into New Jersey, with a view to expanding distribution reach throughout the US.
On Monday, April 19, 5-minute video submissions from the participants will be posted to the UPitchNJ Facebook page.
To access the live-stream event on Friday, April 23, visit the UPitchNJ website, www.upitchnj.org, or join the live-stream event on the UPitchNJ Facebook page.
