Join us for five 3-4 minute DrewTalks discussing how students’ vocational aspirations can both shape their educational experience and be further formed through that experience, including through internships, experiential learning, and mentorship opportunities. DrewTalks by:

    • The Reverend Dr. Tanya L. Bennett T’00, G’05, T’11, Associate Dean for Vocation and Formation, Drew University
    • Dr. Kirk A. Johnson T’12, G’16, Assistant Professor, Justice Studies, Montclair State University and Founder and CEO of Peculiar Capital, LLC
    • Dr. Maximillian J. Orsini G’05, G’16, adjunct professor, Drew University; poet, critical-essayist, teacher, and singer-songwriter
    • Kristen Turner, Professor and Director of Teacher Education, Drew University
    • Dr. Hettie V. Williams Ph.D. G’13, G’17, Historian and Writer; Assistant Professor of African American history in the Department of History and Anthropology at Monmouth University

Breakouts will follow the DrewTalks around each speakers’ topic.

The second half of this event will offer the chance to connect with others in a targeted way in industry breakout rooms determined by attendee interest.
