Join us for a special event with Dr. Philip Butler, assistant professor of theology and Black posthuman artificial intelligence systems at Iliff School of Theology and founder of The Seekr Project, a Black AI for the mind. He will present a Black posthuman sociotechnical framework as an approach for liberative spiritual revolt and justice-seeking in a digital age. We invite you to engage in this critical and visionary conversation about the role of religion, race, and digital technology with a robust time for Q&A following the lecture.

Bring your curiosity and questions to this Science for Seminaries event and join in the Q&A that follows.

The event is made possible through a Science for Seminaries seed grant from the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) Dialogue on Science, Ethics, and Religion (DoSER) Program and is co-sponsored by the Gospel Living and Social Transformation course at Drew Theological School. For more information about AAAS DoSER and the Science for Seminaries seed grant, visit www.ScienceforSeminaries.org.
