Hall of Sciences

Scientific research at Drew takes place in our recently renovated Hall of Sciences. Home to the biology, chemistry, mathematics and computer science, physics and psychology departments, its specialized facilities include a greenhouse, a research grade telescope, a laser holography lab, a microscopy and imaging suite, the Research Institute for Scientists Emeriti (RISE) and classrooms and labs for the natural and mathematical sciences.

Our instrumentation

Modern science in areas such as biology, chemistry, biochemistry and physics require sophisticated laboratory equipment that must be carefully calibrated, maintained, supplied and serviced. Students gain valuable experience working with our instruments. They learn not only how to use them safely and effectively but also how they can be used to advance their particular research projects.
