Help along the way

“I consider myself very fortunate to have met many professors and friends who have helped me. First of all, my major professors Sarah Abramowitz, [John H. Evans professor of mathematics and computer science and chair of the department], and Miao Chi, [associate professor of economics], not only gave me the best help and recognition in my studies, but also gave me a lot of key information and the best recommendations in choosing my future path after graduation.”

The INTO Drew University experience

“The INTO staff at Drew University have also been very helpful to me. Keeley Thornton, [ESL instructor, INTO], was very patient and conscientious in giving advice about writing, especially when I applied to graduate programs. We put in a lot of effort together to build a personal profile. From my first year when I first arrived at Drew, my advisor Michelle Coles, [student services coordinator, INTO], has been there to help me through many adjustments and college experiences. Kaylin Russell, [former marketing and communications specialist, INTO], also gave me many opportunities to gain work experience where I learned new skills and communication tools. They were all very important people in helping me achieve my goals.”

Thankful for Drew

“I am grateful to Drew University for giving me the opportunity to try a different kind of college life in different fields. From experiencing the New York Semester on Social Entrepreneurship to volunteering over spring break, each experience is one of the best memories of my college life. I experienced a lot of good things on this campus and had a lot of new friends around me. From two suitcases in 2019 to a room full of memories in 2022.”
