March 2020 – Amid Drew University’s decision to move instruction and business operations online for the remainder of the semester, we’ve reached out to some of our faculty experts to put the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic into perspective.
Phoebe Tang, visiting assistant professor of political science and international relations, delivered a presentation, Comparative Government Responses, to students, alums and parents via Zoom.
From the UK’s initial herd immunity response to China’s lockdown and surveillance practices, Dr. Tang broke down how various countries have responded to the coronavirus pandemic and placed them on a spectrum of lenient-to-draconian. Check it out below!
