Accounting is responsible for managing the university’s financial accounting activities and for processing all relevant documents. Additionally, Accounting administers policies, procedures, and internal controls that are necessary to ensure that the University both meets its financial obligations and is in compliance with all accounting principles, practices, and reporting requirements. Accounting prepares external financial reports required by outside parties to evaluate the financial condition of the university, including all audited financial statements of the university, reports required by the State of New Jersey and Federal Governments, and various national surveys required of colleges and universities for accreditation or benchmarking.
