Saturday, September 27
9 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. | Family Weekend Information Desk | Ehinger Center Lobby
Featuring light grab-and-go breakfast fare and beverages in the Ehinger Center (EC) lobby until supplies last. The Information Desk will be staffed until 1:30 PM—stop by with any Family Weekend questions about the schedule or Drew’s campus, and don’t forget to pick up your exclusive Drew Family Weekend name tags.
10 a.m. and 11 a.m. | Drew Ghost Walking Tour | Lobby of the United Methodist Archives
Join us for one of two Ghost Stories Tours, departing promptly at 10:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. from the Archives Lobby. From there, you will be guided to Mead Hall, Seminary Hall, outside the Shakespeare Theater, and end at Hoyt Hall for more spooky stories. Each tour lasts about 30–45 minutes and is limited to the first 70 participants for each time frame (broken into two even groups).

- The Psychology of Money: Are financial markets rational? No more or less than you can say people are rational. Human behavior drives markets, whether it is the stock price of Apple or the latest meme stock. We explore the linkages between finance, economics, and psychology and teach students to make better personal financial and investing decisions.

- How Infectious Diseases Emerge: We’re all aware of the emergence of new infectious diseases, but where do these new infectious diseases come from? We will explore the factors involved in infectious disease emergence using case studies and looking at data on how some prominent infectious diseases emerged.

Join our Drew Hillel for brunch and snacks outside the Hillel House.
1 p.m. | President Link’s University Address | Crawford Hall, Ehinger Center
Join President Link as she provides parents and family with updates and insight about the University for this new academic year. Enjoy some cold apple cider, coffee, tea, and other treats!
1:30 p.m. – 5 p.m. | Family Weekend Fall Festival | Ehinger Center Patio & Lawn
Celebrate the season with an afternoon full of fall fun for Drew students and their families! Visit the petting zoo, paint your own pumpkin, and other festive activities. And don’t forget to grab a cozy snack from one of the three delicious food trucks that will be available—it’s a Family Weekend tradition you won’t want to miss!
4:30 p.m. – 9 p.m. | Dinner at The Commons
The Commons will be serving dinner and Drew family members are always invited! Parents eat free for students on the Platinum Meal Plan. Guest admission is $14.95 per person.
Sunday, September 28
10:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. | Family Weekend Closing Brunch | Ehinger Center, Eatery (Use Main Entrance)
Join us for one of Family Weekend’s favorite traditions — our Closing Brunch! Enjoy a delicious buffet-style brunch with a DJ, photo booth, and fun activities for all ages. Registration is required on a separate form. Cost: $10 per adult (including Drew Student), $5 for children under 5. Walk-in spots will be very limited and offered on a first-come, first-served basis. If space is available, cash will be accepted at the door.

The Madison Farm & Artisan Market runs every Saturday from May 24 through December 13. This community-centered event features a variety of great vendors, a wide selection of products, family-oriented activities and entertainment, and opportunities for local non-profits and businesses to participate.

As part of this year’s Fall Festival, a professional ring vendor will be on campus from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Students will have the opportunity to browse a selection of rings, receive assistance with sizing, and ask questions regarding customization and ordering.

This event is The RMG Salon & Lecture Series dedicated to our beloved professor and artist Rodney M. Gilbert. We continue his work to uplift, showcase, and celebrate underrepresented artists of color as he did for his students at Drew. In collaboration with the Arts of Respect (AOR), this program is designed to encourage students to engage with the visual, literary, and performing arts as a means for exploring our differences and commonalities, while cultivating greater understanding and respect. AOR was established in 2009 and endowed by Dr. Paul Drucker C’51, P’83, AOR is organized by Drew’s Center on Religion, Culture & Conflict (CRCC). Free Admission, donations welcome.
