Welcome to the Office of the Registrar
The role of the Registrar’s Office is to serve the mission of the school by supporting students, faculty, and staff through the maintenance of the institution’s data, providing guidance in the development of academic policies, creating procedures that uphold policies, and “safeguard[ing] the integrity of the institution’s records and degrees” (“The Registrar’s Guide” 7). Some of the main functions of the Registrar’s Office are to provide transcripts and enrollment verifications, facilitate registration, maintain the academic catalog and degree requirements, build the class schedule, assign classrooms, process matriculated student transfer credit, and oversee grade submission.
Students with questions about what classes to take or what will count towards their degree should work with their academic advisor. Students should also refer to the registration error messages section of our website if they are running into registration related issues.
The Office of the Registrar is committed to serving the college community and executing its assigned tasks in a manner that is efficient, professional, and ethical.
In fulfilling this mission, the Registrar’s Office designs and implements efficient systems for student registration, class scheduling, and room assignments; creates and maintains accurate academic records, and ensures the integrity of the Drew University degree.
Accordingly, the Registrar’s Office provides quality service through a variety of forms, including the advanced use of technology and the individualized support. The Registrar’s Office is dedicated to working in partnership with other divisions, offices and units of Drew University to comply with the policies of the college, the University, and other regulatory agencies.
