Tolley and Brown Hall
The Tolley/Brown Complex is one of the two designated First Year Hall Complexes.
Tolley and Brown Hall both have three stories with a full basement. Each floor is practically identical with its contents. The basements of both Halls contain laundry rooms. Each hall has multiple individualized bathrooms located on every floor containing a toilet, sink, and shower located on each floor. All rooms are furnished with an extra-long twin bed, desk, desk chair, dresser, and closet.
Tolley Hall is connected to Brown Hall by a large lounge, that boasts ceiling-high, public restrooms, and wall length windows that outlooks the patio and the Forest. Students from Tolley and Brown Hall enjoy a spacious meeting room for studying and a newly built outdoor patio for activities and programs with a forest backdrop. If campus dining is not in your daily activity, the lounge has its own kitchenette. If you are interested in experiencing your first and/or second year on campus set back in the Forest of Drew University, this choice may be for you.

Welch Hall
The Welch/Holloway Complex was renovated in 2013 (Welch) and 2018 (Holloway), with Welch Hall being the second of the designated First Year Hall complexes.
These Residence Halls are located on the brim towards the backside of campus; bordering the Forum, Commons and HERB Complex. Generally housing first-year and residents in Welch/Holloway encompasses a tight-knit community. Bridging the two Halls is the Welch/Holloway Lounge. This is located on the first floor and is where residents gather to study, watch tv, relax and enjoy programs. There is a kitchenette attached to the lounge where students are welcome to cook and bake. The Welch/Holloway Complex patio also has two small picnic areas located on the front and back where residents can hang out to socialize.
Welch Hall contains three stories and a basement. This traditional style hall is co-ed by room and each floor has a small lounge with a kitchenette area that contains a sink and a microwave. Residents have access to these areas 24/7. The basement houses a laundry room for residents. This hall has multiple individualized bathrooms located on every floor containing a toilet, sink, and shower located on each floor. Welch Hall houses Civic Scholars and the substance-free floor.
