Virtual event with the best-selling author and historian on November 1
October 2022 – Drew University has announced the first Drew Forum speaker of the 2022-23 academic year, Michael Beschloss.
Beschloss is a best-selling author; Emmy-winning presidential historian for NBC News and contributor to PBS NewsHour; and New York Times columnist.
Beschloss is the author of nine best sellers, including Presidential Courage: Brave Leaders and How They Changed America, 1789-1989, Jacqueline Kennedy: Historic Conversations on Life with John F. Kennedy, and two volumes on President Lyndon Johnson’s secret White House tapes.
He writes a monthly column in the New York Times on business history and a weekly column on sports history.
In addition to his writing and television careers, Beschloss has also amassed the most-followed Twitter account of any historian. His account is featured on TIME’s list of the world’s top Twitter feeds.
The virtual event will take place on Tuesday, November 1, at 7:30 p.m. and will feature a moderated discussion and Q&A.
