Drew University Raises Money for Wounded Warrior Project

Part of the school’s honoring of Veterans Day

December 2023 – The Drew University campus community recently raised more than $800 for the Wounded Warrior Project in honor of Veterans Day.

Rangers get a workout.

It was the first such event since before COVID-19.

The campus event coordinated by Drew’s Student Financial Services team featured a push up competition and guess-how-many candy jar contest to add to the festivities.

Students, faculty, and staff stopped by the event in the Ehinger Center and made donations small and large.

Of note, student athletes from the men’s and women’s swimming and diving team came en masse to make the biggest on-site donation and participate in the push-up contest.

“We want to thank everyone who participated, and encourage everyone to remember to support and thank our veterans every day,” said Ryan Tumulty C’22, student accounts representative.
