Drew University to Host James Carville as Next Drew Forum Speaker

The dynamic, free virtual event will be held Tuesday, January 23

December 2023 – Drew University has announced James Carville, America’s best-known political consultant, as its next Drew Forum speaker.

The event will be held virtually on Tuesday, January 23, 2024, at 7:30 p.m. ET. It is free to the Drew community and general public thanks to generous sponsorship from the Blanche & Irving Laurie Foundation.

James Carville has a long list of electoral successes and a history of turning political underdogs into upset winners. His most notable campaign victory was helping Bill Clinton win the 1992 presidential election.

In recent years, Carville has focused on political campaigns in more than 20 countries around the world, from South America to Europe to Africa to Asia.

He also co-hosts a weekly podcast, Politics War Room, with journalist Al Hunt, and has co-founded Democracy Corps, an independent, non-profit polling organization dedicated to making the government more responsive to the American people.

Carville is also a best-selling author, actor, producer, talk-show host, speaker, and restaurateur.
