August 2024 – Zaro’s Family Bakery, the iconic, family-owned bakery, deeply rooted in New York City’s rich culinary tradition, proudly announces its first-ever campus location at Drew University. Open starting today, Zaro’s Family Bakery will serve a selection of multigenerational favorites, including their beloved Black & White Cookies, authentic New York-style bagels, and coffee.
To celebrate the grand opening, Zaro’s will offer a special promotion: the first 50 guests each day during the week of August 26 will receive a free Mini Black & White Cookie with the purchase of any coffee. This exclusive giveaway is an ideal opportunity for the Drew University community to experience the timeless flavors that have made Zaro’s a New York institution.

The new Zaro’s Family Bakery location at Drew University represents a significant expansion for the company, which has been a staple in the New York metro area since 1927. With this move, Zaro’s continues its mission of delivering fresh, delicious baked goods to new audiences while staying true to its roots.
Zaro’s Family Bakery, in partnership with Gourmet Dining, at Drew University will be open Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. As an added convenience, students can use their Dining Points or a meal equivalency at Zaro’s, making it easier than ever to grab a treat before or between classes.
