Drew University Announces Dual-Degree in Accounting with Seton Hall

The 4+1 program adds another convenient pathway for Drew undergrads

September 2024 – Drew University has announced a Dual-Degree with Seton Hall University that will allow undergraduates to enter the school’s master’s of accounting program.

Starting this academic year, students will have the opportunity to earn an undergraduate degree from Drew and enter Seton Hall’s Stillman School of Business to earn a master of science in accounting degree.

“Drew’s Dual-Degrees provide our students with convenient, cost-effective opportunities to earn advanced degrees with a number of prestigious partner institutions. We are thrilled to add another partnership with Seton Hall in a desirable field like accounting,” said Ryan Hinrichs, dean of Arts and Sciences in the College of Liberal Arts and Caspersen School of Graduate Studies.

In addition to entering the Seton Hall program following graduation, Drew students will also have the option to take up to two online courses at Seton Hall as seniors to start earning graduate-level credits early, putting them on the fast-track to earning their advanced degree.

This agreement comes on the heels of Drew’s addition of accounting, finance, and marketing minors to its growing list of popular business degrees.

The Seton Hall partnership brings Drew’s roster of Dual-Degrees—including a program with Seton Hall’s law school—to 19.

Other Dual-Degrees include partnerships with schools like NYU, Columbia, Washington University in St. Louis, and Duke in areas like cybersecurity, engineering, medicine, public health, and software engineering.

Drew also offers Dual-Degree pathways with its Caspersen School of Graduate Studies (teaching, data science, finance, and medical humanities, health and society) and Drew Theological School (religion, theology and ministry, and divinity).
