Drew University Named to The Princeton Review’s Guide to Green Colleges 2025 List

Earned high scores for sustainability-conscious programs, policies

October 2024 – The Princeton Review has named Drew University to its annual Guide to Green Colleges list.

The publication used more than 25 data points from surveys with students and college administrators regarding their campus’ green policies and experiences. Colleges, like Drew, with superb sustainability practices, a strong foundation in sustainability education, and a high quality of life were recognized.

“We are delighted to recommend Drew university to students who want their ‘best-fit’ college to also be a ‘green’ one,” said Rob Frankek C’92, editor-in-chief of The Princeton Review. “Drew, which offers excellent academics, also demonstrates a strong commitment to sustainability in its campus programs, policies, and practices.”

Per The Princeton Review, 61 percent of the 8,000 high schoolers the company interviewed in 2024 said information about a given school’s commitment to the environment would impact their decision to apply or attend that school.

Earlier this year, Drew made The Princeton Review’s Best 390 Colleges list and received top-20 praise in their Best College Theater and Lots of Race/Class Interaction categories. Drew also made the publication’s Best Value Colleges list this year, marking six consecutive years with the distinction.
