G’00s

Paul Anthony Petruzzi G’03 is pleased to announce the publication of Brooklyn 4, New York: Lyrical Voices, a collection of poems that paints vignettes of memorable people, places, and moments from a unique time in mid-century New York City. The “Lyrical Voices” are the voices of immigrants who arrived from throughout Europe and beyond to settle in Manhattan (“the city” to native New Yorkers). Ellis Island was the gateway for many, and Lower Manhattan became home to the families who came to America in search of a better life. See photo gallery.

The University of Pennsylvania Press recently published Dr. Paul Kahan’s [G’04] seventh book, Philadelphia: A Narrative History. The first single-volume comprehensive history of the City of Brotherly Love in more than forty years, the book has been called “the perfect introduction to understanding how Philadelphia became the city it is today.” (Inga Saffron, Pulitzer Prize-winning architecture critic for the Philadelphia Inquirer). The book received the Annual Preservation Award (publication) from the Heritage Commission of Delaware County. See photo gallery.

Dr. Arthur Turfa G’07 began as a Poetry Editor for the Binghamton University Eleventh Hour Literary starting in January 2025.
