Kristina Simmonds shares, “I am currently studying at Fordham University Graduate School of Social Work and working toward a CASAC. I am attending school part-time and am set to graduate in 2.5 years. I currently work with the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline.”
Nathanael Tazewell shares, “I’ve been working in law IT roles for law firms for the past five years. I miss the sense of academic community and calming atmosphere, especially being in the middle of an intellectual space and a community that always pushed me to improve myself.”
After graduating, Marianna D’Aries became a registered diagnostic medical sonographer and works at a hospital in North Jersey. Since graduating from Drew, she has developed the confidence to push herself to pursue a career outside of the liberal arts and has fallen in love with the medical field. Hands-on work and helping patients are her passions. She misses Drew because she’s an absolute nerd who loved being in school. Who knows—maybe she’ll come back soon and take some philosophy courses to try something new.

From Christina Beviano: “Upon graduation, I received my first full-time job as a Client Care Specialist at a small law firm in Millburn, focusing on personal injury and residential real estate. I ended up leaving that job after my mom passed unexpectedly in 2023. I then became a Sales and Marketing Coordinator at Goldfish Swim School in Springfield, where I learned how to swim and became a certified lifeguard! As of June 2025, I have been at CSG Law in Roseland as a legal assistant in commercial real estate and zoning. I became a Notary Public in January 2026. After completing my driving to the contiguous 48 states in 2019, I decided after graduation to see the major cities I didn’t get to see in those states before. Since graduation, I have been to Denver, CO; Burlington, VT; Providence, RI; Portland, ME; Atlanta, GA; Reno, NV/Lake Tahoe; Seattle, WA; and, internationally, London, UK, and Montreal, CA, amongst visiting other places I’ve seen prior. I will be traveling to San Diego, CA, this fall and hope to have more trips in the upcoming years, as I am working on a few more international trips.”
