Classroom visits and workshops
To request a visit to your classroom for either a specific skills workshop or an information session about the CAE/UWC resources, please contact our Director, Dorothy Helmken, at [email protected]. In your email, please include your course, class time, and requested visit type, and we will coordinate with you to meet the specific needs of your class!
Tutor Nomination Form
Do you have a standout student in your class that has excellent tutoring potential? You can nominate them for hiring with the CAE and UWC! We contact each nominated student to invite them to apply to the centers on your recommendation. Please complete this Tutor Nomination Form to let us know who you would like to tutor your courses!
Embedded Learning Fellow (ELF) Request Form
The CAE’s Embedded Learning Fellows (ELFs) are students who work closely with faculty to help facilitate classroom learning. ELFs are trained tutors that attend class sessions, hold personalized office hours exclusively for your students, and mentor your students on how to be successful in your course. Whether you have a student in mind to be your ELF, or are looking for the CAE to place an ELF for you, you can learn more about the ELF process and submit a request here.
Tutor Employment Reference forms
If a student has requested a reference from you for their role in the CAE or UWC, you can complete one of the following forms depending on their aspirant role.
