Drew University Named a Best Value College

The Princeton Review included Drew for the sixth consecutive year

June 2024 – The Princeton Review has named Drew University to its selective Best Value Colleges list for the sixth straight year.

Drew is one of only five New Jersey schools to make the list.

“The schools we chose as our Best Value Colleges for 2024 are a select group: they comprise only about eight percent of the nation’s four-year undergraduate institutions,” said Rob Franek C’93, editor-in-chief of The Princeton Review and member of the Drew Board of Trustees.

Selected schools received the publication’s highest return on investment (ROI) ratings, which are based on more than 40 data points covering academics, affordability, and career preparation.

The Princeton Review also factored in student debt data, feedback from current students, and information from PayScale.com surveys of alums regarding starting and mid-career salaries and job satisfaction.

Earlier this year, The Princeton Review named Drew to its annual Best 389 Colleges guide, and once again featured Drew on its Top 25 lists for both Best College Theater and Lots of Race/Class Interaction.

Drew has seen a recent rise in national rankings in publications like U.S. News & World Report, which revamped their methodology to put more emphasis on student outcomes, and Washington Monthly, which gave Drew top-10 marks in 2024 for social mobility. Drew was also listed among Money.com’s 2024 Best Colleges in the U.S list.
