The Tradition Continues

Established in 1983, the Senior Gift Society recognizes donors who in their senior year make a donation to the University to support the next generation of Drew students. The campaign is organized by members of the Student Alumni Association, who host exclusive senior events to fundraise for their class gift. Senior Gift Society members are a special group of donors who recognize the impact of alumni support throughout their years as a student and are helping shape Drew’s future as they transition into alumni.

WHY I GIVE

Engy Gadelmawla C’18, Senior Gift Society

“Our class gift allows us to take the first step toward paying it forward by actually raising funds while learning the value of philanthropy.”

Frequently Asked Questions

WHO RUNS THE SENIOR GIFT SOCIETY CAMPAIGN?

Student volunteers manage the Senior Gift Society fundraising campaign. The committee members cultivate a spirit of philanthropy among the senior class, help educate classmates about the importance of giving to Drew, and organize senior-only events throughout the year.

HOW DO I GIVE TO SENIOR GIFT SOCIETY 2020?

We encourage seniors to give online. However, you can also make a gift with cash or check at an upcoming Senior Event.

More information on ways to give to Drew.

WHAT DOES SENIOR GIFT SOCIETY SUPPORT?

Seniors can give to the Annual Fund – meaning their donation will be used to support the areas of greatest need – or designate their gifts to the area that made their Drew experience most meaningful, such as academic programs, scholarships, athletics, or student life.

More information on what to support.

HOW MUCH SHOULD I GIVE?

A gift of $25 is the suggested donation level for Senior Gift Society, but gifts of any size are welcomed.

  • Seniors who make donations of $100 or more will become a member of the Drew Society at a pro-rated amount. Drew Society members are the University’s top-tier donors and are among Drew’s closest friends and leaders.

CAN I SPREAD OUT MY PAYMENT OVER TIME?

You can become a member of the Senior Gift Society with a recurring gift that spreads your payments out over time. With a monthly gift charged automatically through your credit card, giving is convenient and sustaining. Annual support of the University has the biggest impact on students and your monthly gift ensures your continued support of Drew each year.

WHY SHOULD I JOIN SENIOR GIFT SOCIETY?

Giving to Drew is so important because tuition does not cover the entire cost of a Drew education. By giving, you join over 4,000 others who donate to Drew every year to support scholarships, academic programs, internships, and campus improvements. Also, the percentage of alumni who give is a key statistic used in university rankings and plays a critical role in Drew’s ability to compete for major institutional grants.
