Excels in student engagement, campus environment.
September 2018 – Drew ranks in the top 20 percent of the best colleges and universities in the U.S., according to the 2019 Wall Street Journal/Times Higher Education College Rankings.
The WSJ/THE list of 1,054 schools is based on student surveys and school data on outcomes, resources, engagement and the campus environment.
Drew, for example, scored particularly high in engagement (15.2 out of 20) and environment (6.4 out of 10). Engagement measures the quality of the teaching and student interaction with professors, while environment examines the diversity of the student body and faculty.
In addition, Drew ranks in the top 30 percent of 968 liberal arts schools nationally and near the top quarter of 303 schools in the Northeast. To read Drew’s entry, type in Drew University here.
