Continues steady climb up rankings to No. 8
November 2019 – The Institute of International Education (IIE) has ranked Drew University 8th among the nation’s baccalaureate colleges for international student enrollment in their 2019 Open Doors Report.
Drew University is the only baccalaureate school in New Jersey on the IIE’s Top 40 list.
“We are proud of Drew’s international community of global citizen students from dozens of countries around the world,” President MaryAnn Baenninger said. “Community is an important pillar of our Launch educational experience. So, all our students—international and domestic—learn and use skills that matter in our interconnected world.”
This ranking continues Drew’s upward trend in international student enrollment. Drew ranked 19th among baccalaureate colleges in 2017 and 15th in 2018 before vaulting into the top 10 this year.
Other baccalaureate schools in the top 10 this year include Franklin & Marshall, Mount Holyoke, the University of Richmond and Wesleyan. Read more about the IIE’s leading host institutions.
The ranking joins a long list of accolades that Drew has received in recent months, including recognition from outlets like The Princeton Review, U.S. News, Washington Monthly and Fiske.
