The junior Nepalese international student had been missing since January 19
May 3, 2021 – A grieving Drew University community was notified earlier today of the passing of junior Ajay Sah.

The University administration was notified by the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office, whose statement can be found here.
A service of remembrance will be held in Ajay’s honor, with details forthcoming. Flags on campus and in Madison, ordered by Mayor Robert Conley, will fly at half mast.
The Center for Counseling and Psychological Services is meeting with many members of the community and is offering daily community support drop-in sessions to process and support one another.

May 3, 2021 – The Drew University community suffered a tragic loss today, when the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office informed University officials that Ajay Sah, a junior and Nepalese international student who had been missing since January 19, had passed away. Ajay will be greatly missed by the entire Drew community, as well as the community of Madison, New Jersey. The thoughts and prayers of the greater Drew family go out to his close friends and family.
Grief counselors are available to help the Drew community during this time.
