Eight promotions, including four to full professorship
June 2026 – Drew University has promoted eight members of its Arts & Sciences faculty and granted emerita status to a retiring longtime Drew Theological School professor.
Chris Andrews has been promoted to Professor of Sociology. Andrews has been with Drew since 2011 and received his PhD from the University of Maryland.
Brianne Barker has been promoted to Professor of Biology. Barker has been at Drew since 2013 and received her PhD from Harvard University.
Marc Boglioli has been promoted to Professor of Anthropology. Boglioli has taught at Drew since 2003 and received his PhD from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
Adam Cassano has been promoted to Professor of Chemistry. Cassano has been with Drew since 2004 and received his PhD from Case Western Reserve University.
Kim Choquette has been promoted to Associate Professor of Chemistry. Choquette has been at Drew since 2015 and received her PhD from Lehigh University.
Jens Lloyd has been promoted to Associate Professor of English. Lloyd has been at Drew since 2018 and received his PhD from UC Irvine.
In addition to these promotions, Jonathan Golden and Kevin Newburg have been promoted to Full Teaching Professor, both non-tenure-track positions.
Catherine Keller has been named Professor Emerita of Constructive Theology, an honor bestowed following a 40-year tenure at Drew Theological School.
