Travel

Visit the iconic city of Sydney, Australia, to study the impact of sports through the lens of leadership, strategy, and culture. Site visits include worldrenowned locations such as the Sydney Cricket Ground Museum, Sydney Tower Eye, and the Sydney Opera House.

Rethink

Students will engage with dynamic guest lecturers, expanding their knowledge of sports culture and business practices by engaging with diverse perspectives on Australian sport and culture, Indigenous cultural history, business leadership and management practices in the Asia Pacific region, gender studies in sports, and more.

Explore

Immerse yourself in Australian culture through experiences like attending a professional athletic event and visiting iconic surfing beaches. Adventure through stunning neighboring wildlife parks and mountain ranges by day, and enjoy exciting overnights including visiting Canberra, the Blue Mountains & Featherdale Sydney Wildlife Park, and the Royal National Park.

Connect

Build connections between your American business studies by engaging with and studying international sports business practices in the Pacific Rim/Asia. Explore differences and similarities between American and Australian sports cultures. This program is designed for students with an interest in business, sports management, leadership, anthropology, sociology, and/or sports and culture.
