Summer 2027
Big Experiences Lead to Bold Futures
At Drew, all students graduate with at least two experiential learning opportunities on their transcripts. Guaranteed.
This nycTREC program fulfills the Gen Ed-Immersive Experience requirement.
Travel
Seville, the capital of Andalusia, is one of Europe’s most celebrated cities—rich in history, architecture, and cultural depth. From its breathtaking Moorish and Mudéjar landmarks to its lively plazas and neighborhoods, the city offers an endlessly rewarding backdrop for a four-week immersive internship with the Spanish Institute for Global Education.
Rethink
International experience isn’t a bonus anymore, it’s an edge. Spend four weeks working and living in Seville, building cross-cultural skills that translate across industries, and come back with connections, confidence, and a résumé that speaks for itself.
Explore
Wander the historic lanes of El Barrio de Santa Cruz. Be swept away by the scale and beauty of La Plaza de España. Discover Córdoba on a curated day trip. Learn flamenco from the inside out. Cook and eat your way through authentic Spanish cuisine. This is exploration, lived.
Connect
Your host family isn’t just a place to sleep, they’re your window into real Seville. Share meals, swap stories, and navigate daily life in a city that will surprise you. Take on the Yincana Triana, a scavenger hunt through Seville’s legendary Triana neighborhood that’s equal parts adventure and discovery. Then zoom out: compare cultures, question assumptions, and come back with a perspective that’s genuinely yours. Perfect for anyone ready to be challenged.
