Drew Summer Transition Program
The Drew Summer Program is a transition program designed to help first-year students acclimate to Drew. The program is intended to boost self-advocacy, independence, and academic skills, which will help prepare the students for a smooth transition to college life.
Please note that this program is separate from the Drew Learning Support Program, which runs during the academic year, however students may opt into that program as well. Here is more information about the Drew Learning Support Program.
The Summer Transition Program at Drew University is conducted in person, giving students a chance to fully engage with the campus environment. Participants have the option to reside on campus or commute from home.
Dates: August 24-27, 2026
Times: 9:00a.m. – 4:00p.m.
Residential option
- Early move in to their assigned residence hall
- Includes all meals
- Includes evening activities
- $1200.00
Commuter option
- Includes lunch
- $750.00

- Information about the Office of Accessibility Resources (including policies and procedures)
- Study Skills
- Time Management Skills
- Writing Skills
- Technology Skills
- Syllabus Training
- Resources (both academic and non)
- Extra curricular involvement on campus
- Becoming familiar with buildings on campus (both academic and non) as well as downtown Madison
