THANK YOU Pantry Volunteers and Partners!

Upon its opening in the fall of 2020, the Drew Food Pantry was immediately supported by students dedicated to assisting their peers as we all navigate this pandemic, with a total of eleven volunteers keeping the Pantry open close to 150 hours over the course of the year.

In addition, the Drew Food Pantry is grateful to have partnered with First Baptist Church of Madison, Madison United Methodist Church, and Chatham United Methodist Church. On campus, Drew faculty and staff, as well as Drew Hillel, have been generously supportive. ARIEL has spearheaded the inception of a cultural club initiative to supply culturally diverse food options in the Drew Food Pantry, with hopes of expansion and continuation into the next year.

Our Drew AmeriCorps Changebuilder Coordinator in the Center for Civic Engagement leads the Drew Food Pantry as well as Drew’s annual MLK Day of Service, the Changebuilders program and its members.

The Pantry runs entirely on donations and the generosity of our community; thus the food and toiletries available vary.  In order to best meet the needs of our students, we are always looking for new community partners.  If you are interested in partnering with us, please contact Gionna.
