The Walther Köhler Collection

Walther Köhler (1870-1946) was a Lutheran church historian and professor of church history at the universities of Giessen, Zurich, and Heidelberg. He was a leading authority on the Reformation as well as other movements of the sixteenth century, especially Humanism and the Anabaptist movement. He is regarded by some as the dean of Zwingli scholarship.

The Walther Köhler Collection comprises nearly 4500 works by Köhler and others on topics in church history, the Reformation, world religions and philosophy.
