May 2019 – Drew University Associate Provost Jessica Lakin is participating in the next Senior Leadership Academy of the Council of Independent Colleges.
Lakin, who focuses on academic administration, is among just 41 college administrators who were accepted into the year-long program, which includes mentoring, webinars, readings and case studies.
Lakin joined Drew in 2003—as an assistant professor of psychology—and became associate provost in 2017. She serves under Debra Liebowitz, the provost and dean of Drew’s College of Liberal Arts and Caspersen School of Graduate Studies.
Beyond the CIC, the academy is sponsored by the American Academic Leadership Institute and Academic Search. The institute’s president, Linda Bleicken, serves as director.
