Virtual speaker series with scholars from Drew Theological School.

May 2020 – As COVID-19 continues to impact lives around the world, scholars and leaders from Drew Theological School are remaining connected to the community through the Conversations Under Quarantine virtual speaker series.

Implemented to generate theology and ministry resources during this time of social crisis and uncertainty, the series has featured the following impactful and thought-provoking topics, including:

Kate Ott, associate professor of Christian social ethics: How to Talk to Your Children About Coronavirus and Loving Your Neighbor.

Jennifer Quigley, assistant professor of New Testament and early Christian studies: Communicating Across Distance: Lessons for Quarantine From the Letters of Paul.

The series continues on June 4 at 7 p.m. with Gary Simpson, associate professor of homiletics, discussing Preaching in a Pandemic.
