Drew University Jumps Six Spots On U.S. News & World Report’s Best Colleges List

Drew ranked 111th among liberal arts schools, only N.J. school in top 150

September 2022 – U.S. News & World Report ranked Drew 111th among the nation’s top liberal arts schools in their 2022-23 Best Colleges list.

Drew moved up six spots from last year’s ranking and remained the only school in New Jersey to rank in the country’s top 150 schools.

U.S. News gave Drew high marks in a number of supplemental categories including social mobility (29th), percentage of international students (33rd), and campus ethnic diversity (59th).

Drew moved up 10 spots from 2021 in the publication’s selectivity metric and jumped five points in the percentage of first-year students in the top 10 percent of their high school classes. U.S. News gave Drew props for being a great fit for all students, naming the school to its “A+ Schools for B Students” list, the only school in the state to earn the recognition.

In recent weeks, Drew has received praise from a number of renowned outlets.

Earlier this month, Washington Monthly ranked Drew 99th in the country among liberal arts colleges. In August, The Princeton Review named Drew to its Best 388 Colleges list, while student surveys landed Drew among the best schools for College Theater Productions (10th in the U.S.) and Lots of Race/Class Interaction (21st).
