Where she’s headed:

On her time at Drew:
“Programs like Research Institute for Scientists Emeriti (RISE) and Drew Summer Science Institute (DSSI) are the reason why I decided to pursue a PhD! They allowed me to figure out very early on that I was passionate about research, and the relationships I formed with faculty and staff made it so much easier to navigate the scientific world, one that I was entirely unfamiliar with. Truly, my mentors are the reason why I won grants, was accepted to REU (Research Experiences for Undergraduates) programs, presented at national conferences, and made it into graduate school! They shaped my Drew experience for the better, and I’m so grateful for all they’ve done for me.”
