In-person and online events were available to interested potential students and applicants, including the Theological School’s Tipple Celebration Day, an annual event honoring the wisdom of Drew’s inspirational alum network. Prospective students were invited to attend alum panel discussions and join faculty members over lunch.

The October and November Campus Visit Days welcomed students to Drew’s campus to meet students, faculty, and staff. Attendees joined Henry Anson Buttz Professor of New Testament and Early Christianity Melanie Johnson-DeBaufre’s Mary Magdalene Understood class and Associate Professor of Christian Theology Chris Boesel’s and Assistant Teaching Professor in Latinx Studies and Ministries Francisco Pelaez-Diaz’s team-taught Transforming Theologies class.

“I enjoyed the time touring the campus and getting to know the faculty,” said an attendee. “Chapel was one of the most impactful moments. Each person, from worship to sermon, really showed their passion for worship to God and sharing His Word. The class on Mary Magdalene was truly amazing.”

Open Doors on Zoom welcomed international applicants from across Africa and Asia. Prospective students had the opportunity to join Assistant Professor of Hebrew Bible Dong Sung Kim’s Bible and Minoritized Readers class.

“The information provided was profound,” said an attendee.
