Drew University and Wallis Annenberg GenSpace Announce Wisdom Meets Innovation Panel

The thought-provoking panel will take place April 10 in Los Angeles

April 2025 — Drew University and Wallis Annenberg GenSpace will co-host a panel, Wisdom Meets Innovation: How AI Will Transform Education and Connect Generations, on April 10 in Los Angeles.

Drew President Hilary L. Link, PhD, will be among six panelists who will discuss the intersection of artificial intelligence and life-long learning communities across generations.

Link will be joined by Marc Freeman, founder and co-CEO of CoGenerate; Christopher Leech, director of Wallis Annenberg GenSpace; Jonathon Stewart, head of engagement for 2HR Learning/Alpha Schools; Michelle Weise, Drew University innovation advisor and author of Long Life Learning: Preparing for Jobs that Don’t Even Exist Yet; and Constance Yowell, executive director of the Center on the Future of Higher Education at Northeastern University.

“This panel represents the kind of transformative discussions we are having at Drew as we consider the future of higher education—thinking innovatively, leaning into multigenerational learning opportunities, and embracing and planning for the changes AI can and will bring,” said Link. “We are thrilled to partner with a trailblazing organization like GenSpace that is at the forefront of this movement.”

“We are pleased to be forging this new relationship with Drew University, and to welcome such distinguished experts to the GenSpace campus,” said Christpher Leech, director of Wallis Annenberg GenSpace. “This collaboration reflects our commitment to lifelong learning and ensuring that people of all ages can thrive in our ever-evolving communities.”

The event will take place in the Audrey Irmas Pavillion (3643 Wilshire Boulevard, Los Angeles, CA), the building in which GenSpace is housed.
