With China’s growing influence in the global financial market, students can explore its evolving financial landscape in the heart of internationally-famed Beijing and Shanghai. Students will gain insights into the operational frameworks of financial firms, while fully immersing themselves in Chinese culture through excursions to iconic locations such as the Great Wall and The Forbidden City.
The program aims to bridge classroom theory with the dynamic intricacies of China’s financial markets. Examine the unique characteristics, challenges, and opportunities that define China’s financial institutions, regulatory frameworks, and market practices through tailored lectures, case studies, and guided research projects.
Beyond theoretical knowledge, it’s imperative for students to witness and explore the real-time operations of China’s financial hubs. The program may include visits to major financial institutions, interactions with key industry professionals, and attendance at financial seminars and workshops in China. This hands-on experience ensures that students not only learn about the Chinese financial system but also understand its practical implications and workings.
