The Professionals in Residence program connects Drew students and recent alums looking for industry insights with experienced professionals through one-on-one discussions. The Center for Career Development provides virtual and physical space for meetings between students/alums and professionals and regularly promotes professionals’ availability.

Getting Involved

FOR DREW STUDENTS AND RECENT ALUMS

Current Drew students and recent alums can find upcoming Professionals in Residence availabilities through Handshake at any time. Each Professionals in Residence event will require registration; we recommend having your Handshake profile as complete as possible prior to your meeting. Once you’re done, you’ll have the opportunity to review your experience and provide feedback.

FOR PROFESSIONALS

Professionals interested in participating should reach out to Center for Career Development staff for an initial consultation. If selected, you’ll be given training on what to expect from the program and how student meetings typically unfold. We do ask that you complete some paperwork in advance of meeting your first student and will guide you through that process in your training.
