The United Methodist Archives and History Center Wilson Reading Room welcomes all researchers to the Archives. All non-Drew University community members are required to make an appointment in advance of their visit. Prior to making a research trip, please contact Special Collections at speccol@drew.edu. Unscheduled visitors are not permitted.
All members of the Drew Community are welcome and do not need an appointment.

The Special Collections and University Archives Department of the University Libraries is committed to supporting and advancing the educational mission of Drew University. Comprised of a number of distinctive collections, our mission is to acquire, preserve, provide access to and promote the use of primary and special secondary resources in all formats. Special Collections and University Archives are open to anyone who wishes to use them, including all members of the Drew community. Materials are available in the United Methodist Archives and History Center which is located across from the main library.

Preserves and provides access to the historical records of Drew University, including documents, photographs, faculty records and student theses.
United Methodist Archives and History Center
The United Methodist Archives and History Center is a collaboration between the Methodist Library of Drew University and the General Commission on Archives and History for the United Methodist Church (GCAH). The Methodist Library holds more than 50,000 printed materials related to United Methodism and related denominations. The GCAH collection includes records from the various denominational agencies within the United Methodist tradition, and personal papers of several bishops, denominational leaders, and missionaries from the 19th and 20th centuries.
