Joelle Falaise has served as the Assistant Director of the Educational Opportunity Scholars (EOS) Program at Drew University for over five years. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a master’s degree in Counseling. She is a dedicated education professional committed to activating human potential and plays a pivotal role in student success, program development, and inclusive support services. She collaborates to foster healthy supportive relationships and to promote college readiness, personal development, and equitable access to educational resources. Her outreach and mentorship efforts help ensure that students from underrepresented backgrounds are equipped with the tools and encouragement they need to thrive. Her professional mission centers on expanding access to education, careers and personal growth opportunities for historically underserved populations, with a deep commitment to equity, empowerment, and lifelong learning.

Tyra is the Senior EOF/EOS Counselor and Recruitment Specialist at Drew University. She holds a Master’s degree in Clinical and Counseling Psychology. Her professional journey in higher education began during her own undergraduate time and immediately after completing her undergraduate studies. She has since committed to contributing to student advocacy, access, and overall success. An EOF alum herself, Tyra is deeply committed to supporting low-income, first-generation college students. She specializes in holistic and personalized advising and counseling through developing strong relationships with students that foster their sense of belonging and promotes academic, career, and personal growth.

BIOGRAPHY

Hamza Radid is the EOS Program Coordinator at Drew University. He has a PhD in Modern European History. His research interests are politics belonging to North Africans in France. His dissertation focuses on the concept of transnational and translocational belonging. With a PhD in History, he brings advanced research, analytical, and communication skills that are essential for both administrative and academic tasks in higher education. His training has equipped him to assess complex information, provide detailed and constructive feedback, and support EOS students in developing strong academic writing skills. Additionally, his experience in higher education allows him to navigate institutional systems effectively, and foster student success through informed academic advising and mentorship.
