Off Campus Database Access
Off campus access to library databases and subscriptions is available for currently enrolled students, faculty and staff* at Drew via Ezproxy. Links from the Library site (libguides.drew.edu and www.drew.edu/library) are automatically sent through Ezproxy for off campus users, who will be prompted to enter their current Drew User ID and password for access. If you experience difficulty connecting to a journal or database while off-campus:
- First check to see that you are connecting from the Library website. If you are using Scholarsearch, you may want to use the Advanced ScholarSearch link.
- If the problem persists, contact the library via Ask a Librarian and report the name of the database, the web page address, and what browser (Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer, etc) you were using, and we will address the problem.
*Off-campus access to a small subset of online resources is available for Alumni: see Resources for Alumni for a list. Note: users who are not currently enrolled in classes may need to visit the campus directly to access our databases.
Remote Users Library Request (Document Delivery)
Off-campus students and faculty may request copies of Drew-owned journal articles and book chapters. To place a document delivery request, go to the request for materials scan form (will open in a new window).
Before submitting a request, please check the Drew Library Catalog to be sure that the material is available here.
Note: please allow at least 5 business days for arrival. Scans will be sent directly to the email address provided.
For any questions please contact [email protected].
For non-Drew owned materials, please submit an Interlibrary Loan request form from the “Interlibrary Loan” link on www.drew.edu/library. We are not accepting ILL requests for books at this time. Articles and book chapters will be requested from other libraries only if available electronically.
