Drew University Named Best Value School Three Years Running

Fiske Guide to Colleges ranks Drew among nation’s top schools

July 2021 – For the third consecutive year, Drew University is one of the nation’s top value schools, according to Fiske Guide to Colleges.

Drew is lauded as “the state’s only prominent liberal arts college and one of the few in the greater New York City area” on the publication’s 20 Best Buy Colleges and Universities of 2022 list.

“From Drew’s perch in suburban New Jersey, Manhattan is only a 30-minute train ride away, and Wall Street, the UN, and Broadway are common destinations for Drew interns,” continued the publication’s spotlight on Drew.

The ranking joins the likes of Washington Monthly, which vaulted Drew into the country’s top 70 liberal arts schools over the last several years, and The Princeton Review, which has included Drew in its selective The Best 386 Colleges list every year since 1992.

Fiske selected 20 schools, 10 public and 10 private, that represent “outstanding educational value as determined by academic quality in relation to the net cost of attendance.”

Drew remains the only school in New Jersey—public or private—to make the top 20.
